Stefani Jones was a member of At Home/On the Wall independent study in Fall 2011. Her project The Third Sudanese Civil War? asks the question: “How has the creation of an international border between northern and southern Sudan affected patterns of violence and the response from the international community?” The centerpiece of her study is a timeline that chronicles violence on the newly created Sudan/South Sudan border: beginning on December 9, 2010, one month before the South Sudan referendum for independence and ending exactly one year later on December 9, 2011.
