A graduate student in the Art, Art History & Visual Studies Department, Erica Sherman studies architecture and urban development in colonial Latin America with a focus on Brazil in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. She received her B.A. from Duke University in 2007. Her research interests include Renaissance and Medieval Architecture, Early Modern Art and Architecture, and Latin American Colonial Architecture and Urban Development.
