The Save Darfur Coalition is a project of United to End Genocide, the largest activist organization in America dedicated to preventing and ending genocide and mass atrocities worldwide. It was founded in July 2004 at the Darfur Emergency Summit at CUNY Graduate Center in New York City. This alliance of over 140 humanitarian and human rights organizations was assembled with the hope of both raising public awareness about the crisis in Darfur and of mobilizing efforts to end atrocities and to reduce suffering in Darfur and nearby refugee camps. INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN FOR TIBET (ICT)

The International Campaign for Tibet works to promote human rights and democratic freedoms for the people of Tibet. ICT monitors and reports on human rights, environmental and socio-economic conditions in Tibet, advocates for Tibetans imprisoned on account of their religious or political beliefs, works with governments to secure humanitarian and development assistance for Tibetans and works with Chinese institutions to build trust between the Tibetan and Chinese people. HUMAN RIGHTS IN CHINA (HRIC)

Human Rights in China is a Chinese non-governmental organization founded in March 1989 by overseas Chinese students and scientists. HRIC promotes fundamental rights and freedoms and provides solidarity for rights defenders and their families by supporting citizens’ efforts to effectively communicate, as well as organize and participate in rights defense activities. HELSINKI CITIZEN’S ASSEMBLY (hCa)

The Helsinki Citizen’s Assembly is a non-governmental organization that acts on the basic premise that citizens should have a say in the actions and decisions that are directly affecting their lives. The hCa is dedicated to the notions of peace, democracy and pluralism and aims to introduce the basic rights and freedoms accepted in international agreements and outlined in universal standards into daily life. PAX CHRISTI INTERNATIONAL

Pax Christi International is a global Catholic peace movement and network that works to establish peace, respect for human rights, justice and reconciliation in areas of the world that are torn by conflict. It is grounded int he belief that peace is possible and that vicious cycles of violence and injustice can be broken. The organization was originally founded in Europe in 1945 as a reconciliation movement bringing together French and Germans after WWII. IRAN HUMAN RIGHTS DOCUMENTATION CENTER (IHRDC)

The IHRDC is an independent non-profit organization that was founded in 2004 by human rights scholars and lawyers. Among the IHRDC mission is the dedication to establish a comprehensive and objective historical record of the human rights situation in the Republic of Iran since 1979, to promote accountability, respect for human rights and the rule of law in Iran, and to encourage an informed dialogue on the human rights situation in Iran among scholars and the general public both within Iran and abroad. AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION (ACLU)
