THATCamp (The Humanities and Technology Camp) is coming to UNC Chapel Hill on September 15 – at the Institute for Arts & Humanities to be precise. Anyone interested should apply here. What exactly would you be signing up for?
THATCamp is a dynamic, open, inexpensive un-conference where humanists and technologists of all skill levels learn and build together in sessions that are proposed on the spot.
We welcome members of the UNC community AND all other interested humanists and technologists. No affiliation with UNC or IAH is necessary, and attendance is free.
As a bonus, groups that coalesce at this (THAT) camp can apply for funding from Semaphore to continue meeting in the future. Semaphore is a Triangle-based student-led working group on media and technology – more about them here.
