Story Lab, one of Duke FHI’s Humanities Labs, is inviting applications for Undergraduate Story Lab Fellows to join our community! Fellowship appointments will be for fall semester 2016 (potentially
renewable). Each Fellow will receive a semester stipend of $500, Lab carrel space, and opportunity to help program & curate Lab events. Fellows are expected to contribute to the life of the Lab by participating in a variety of Story Lab activities and to provide content for our website on at least one Story Lab event a month—e.g. in the form of event summaries, blog posts, photographic essays, or social media coverage. Fellowship applications should consist of a self-introduction in the form of a creative short “story” in any medium, format, or genre. All Duke undergraduates are eligible; students with all backgrounds, experiences, and interests are very welcome to apply.
Applications are due September 9, 2016. Submissions and questions should be directed to Mackenzie Zalin (msz3@duke.edu). All applicants are encouraged to attend the STORY LAB FALL OPEN HOUSE
on August 31 Wednesday, 5:30-7:30pm – Smith Warehouse Bay 4.
