This workshop, especially designed for graduate students but open to everyone, will discuss strategies for successful dissertation and book projects that use comparative and interdisciplinary methods. We will use Amanda Smith’s own book, Mapping the Amazon: Literary Geography After the Rubber Boom (2021), as a springboard for our discussion. RSVP is required in advance and participants will be provided with excerpts from Smith’s book.
For RSVP and questions, contact Gustavo Furtado (gpf@duke.edu)
