Building on their experience and success with the Mapping the City exhibit at Perkins Library, students in the Maps, Art, and Empire research cluster at BorderWork(s) have been hard at work on their next project. Defining Lines: Rethinking Images of Colonial Authority will be opening at the Nasher Museum this September alongside Lines of Control: Partition as a Productive Space, a major exhibit of contemporary South Asian art.

In this video playlist, the student curators talk about the maps they have each selected for the Defining Lines. Both exhibits are opening on September 19, 2013. Don’t miss them!
