Amanda Bennett is a PhD candidate in Literature at Duke University. She holds a BA in English and African American studies from the University of Alabama. Her research currently focuses on the function of the novel as a form of radical technology within black feminist discourses during the 1970s and 1980s. In her spare time, she enjoys writing poetry, archiving Instagram content, and going to concerts.
