The Duke Brazil Initiative and Global Brazil Humanities Lab of the John Hope Franklin Humanities Institute are pleased to announce the program for the first annual Global Brazil Conference to be held from March 26-28, 2015. Global Brazil is an opportunity for humanists, social scientists, and scientists to create a network open to members of the local community, undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty who are interested in Brazil.
The conference program includes a musical lecture-recital, talks by U.S. and Brazilian invited speakers, and a series of cross-cutting conversations about culture, nature and politics.
An up-to-date listing of conversations and the conference schedule is available at https://sites.fhi.duke.edu/globalbrazil/2015-conference/2015-global-brazil-conference-schedule/
