This blog provides resources in Kreyól language and Haitian culture for travelers and relief aid workers planning to visit Haiti. It was developed as part of the Duke University course “Haitian Creole for Haitian Recovery,” which was created and taught by Deborah Jenson and graduate students Reginald Patterson and Laura Wagner. The course met in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in order to develop these resources to help meet the immediate needs of disaster-stricken Haiti.
You can read a description of the course here.
