People in the Lab

Sejal Lahoti

Sejal Lahoti is a sophomore at Duke University. At the Haiti Lab, she has been involved in the Standard of Care Project. Through this project, she has been analyzing the resources available to people, the discrepancies between the knowledge of resources and the actual resources present, and the ethics of care. She is working towards a public policy major, chemistry minor, and global health certificate. Her primary interests are in health policy, girls education, and reducing health disparities around the world. Eventually she hopes to earn a doctorate of medicine and masters in public health so that she can work for either a government agency for health or an NGO.
