Voices in Global Health

Through practical and theoretical discussions around case studies, personal narratives, documentaries and recorded interviews in the selected language, students will examine how language and culture impact health beliefs and behaviors. Explore underlying reasons for different beliefs and behaviors.

This course is offered in four different languages:

  1. Arabic (GLHLTH 270T-1)
  2. French (GLHLTH 270T-3)
  3. Mandarin (GLHLTH 270T-5)
  4. Spanish (GLHLTH 270T-6)

The course offerings in French and in Spanish are taught by HHL-Core Faculty Associated Deborah Reisinger.
