This week, Duke student Defne Yorgancioglu published an article in the Duke Chronicle titled: “Professors, student groups hope to make discipline of disability studies a campus conversation.” It touched on the work that HHL co-director Marion Quirici has done to promote disability awareness and to increase support for more courses in Disability Studies at Duke. The article also highlights the HHL event with Kathy McMahon-Klosterman back in October, where McMahon-Klosterman discussed how she created a Disabilities Studies major at Miami University Ohio.
