Dr. William H. Willis & the Duke Papyri: A Conversation

The Lab is grateful to Dr. Nicholas Wagner and Dr. Daniel Sharp, as well as Dr, Brent Nongbri and Dr. Roberta Mazza for their participation in our conversation on Duke’s Willis Papyri last Friday, September 10th.
Our kindest remarks to the affiliates who were able to attend our hybrid event in the Franklin Humanities Institutes’ Ahmadieh Lecture Hall, whether in-person or via Zoom.
Special thanks to Christina Chia and Eli Meyerhoff at the FHI for helping ensure the event went smoothly. Thanks also to the Rubenstein Library for hosting Dan Sharp.
Stay tuned for our fall roster, with events featuring Dr. Gay Byron—our visiting fellow—and collaborative efforts with North Carolina State University. Please contact our Undergraduate Coordinator @hmk20@duke.edu if you would like a copy of the notes taken.
It’s certainly an exciting time over at the Lab, and we’re just getting started!
