Zafer<\/a>, Associate Professor in Near Eastern and African Languages at the University of Washington, taught the course; he is currently a Katz Fellow in Advanced Judaic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. Hopefully, &#8220;introducing students to Ge\u2019ez will lay the foundation for future research into the influence and significance of Ge\u2019ez in antiquity&#8221;. Courses like this push at the epistemological borders of classical studies, allowing for more and different stories about antiquity to come forth.
