Carolyn (Collie) Fulford

Dr. Collie Fulford is Associate Professor and Director of the Academic and Professional Writing Program at the University of Buffalo SUNY. Her research areas include adult learners and lifespan writing, writing program administration and development, and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

During her 2017-18 fellowship, she integrated multiple digital pedagogies into the technical and professional writing curriculum at North Carolina Central University. In 2019-20, she was Mellon Humanities Unbounded Visiting Faculty Fellow at Duke to research the writing lives of adult HBCU students. Recent publications include articles in Pedagogy, Writing Program Administration, Journal of Effective Teaching in Higher Education, Across the Disciplines, and Composition Studies.
