Visiting Assistant Professor and SunTrust Endowment Chair at the NCCU Department of Art, Hilary N. Huskey is a 3D character artist and writer with more than 5 years of professional experience developing stories, characters, and environments as part of an integrated virtual gaming design. She received a BA in Visual Arts and Political Science from Duke University and a MFA in Interactive and Game Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. Hilary has an appreciation for a multidisciplinary, collaborative approach to visual communication and currently works as a college professor to help students refine their technical skills in 2D illustration and 3D modeling as well as coaching interpersonal skills to become successful professionals in the gaming industry.
Her proposed project for 2018-19 is “ERRORCODE_Lets_Play_More,” a game to engage students with the study of art history.
