Dustin D. Benac works at the intersection of theology and organizational theory to explore the dynamics of religious ecologies for the formation of individuals and communities of faith. He holds a B.A. in Theology from Whitworth University in Spokane, WA and a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC. Benac is a Doctor of Theology student at Duke Divinity School and his scholarly work uses an interdisciplinary approach to explore the patterns of connection that comprise the life of faith. The recipient of the John Wesley Fellowship, Dempster Graduate Fellowship, and a finalist for the 2013 Aikman Writing Award, his writing has appeared in Christianity Today, Faith & Leadership, Christian Higher Education, The Cresset, and The Journal of Religious Leadership.
