Huanhuan Bi

Huanhuan Bi is a master’s candidate at Graduate Liberal Studies department and Information Science + Information Studies program in Duke. Her research interests center on improving the understanding, design, and performance of online social media and human-computer interaction, mainly through the application of data visualization, statistics, and programming. In social media area, she has worked on characterizing Sina Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, and exploring its political influence on the Chinese society. she received a B.Arch. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2008, and worked as a network administrator in Beijing before moving to Duke in 2012.
