Jessica Q. Stark

English Department

Jessica Q. Stark is a PhD Candidate in the English Department, where she is studying the presence of community, collaboration, and popular culture across literary genres. She is working on a dissertation project that focuses on intersections between twentieth and twenty-first century American poetry and comic books. She is currently developing Prattle, an online digital project that works on visually conceptualizing and mapping collaborations and correspondence between American poets producing during the mid to late twentieth century. In her free time, she is a practicing poet and her most recent manuscript was published by the Heavy Feather Review in 2016.
