Joseph D. Hooper

Joseph D. Hooper is a fourth year doctoral student in cultural studies and literacies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). He is also a graduate certificate-seeking student in qualitative studies at UNC and in information sciences and information studies at Duke University. He holds a combined BA/MA in modern languages (literature) and professional communication (rhetoric) from Clemson University, and a masters in historical theology from the University of Notre Dame. His research interests include all aspects of critical digital and media literacies, games studies, digital humanities pedagogy, and qualitative research.
