Indian dance, acoustic music, and cutting-edge electronic sounds come together for this presentation of Clayton’s Sufi Plug Ins v. 2 project. Clayton has worked with Duke and UNC students to design and create music-making software based on non-Western musical concepts. Dancer/choreographer Ashwini Ramaswamy of the Ragamala Dance Company and percussionist Rajna Swaminathan join the Sufi Plug Ins team for an open rehearsal and conversation about the project.
