Matthew Kenney is currently employed at Alethea as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Apple as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Before joining Apple, Matthew worked at Duke University as an Assistant Research Professor. During their time there, they took on roles such as Lead Instructor for AI for Everyone, Lead Instructor for Data Science Plus research project, and Instruct Data Science Advanced Research team. Matthew also gained experience as a Research Analyst at Penn State University, where they conducted data collection and analysis for a NIH-funded study. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant and Software Developer/Designer at Penn State University, where they created interactive data visualizations, developed applications for data exploration, and led initiatives to foster collaborations between artists and scientists. Matthew Kenney completed their Bachelor of Science degree in an unspecified field of study at Cornell University from 2006 to 2010. Matthew then pursued further education at Penn State University, where they received a Master’s degree in New Media from 2013 to 2015.
