Asheville Strong: Celebrating Art and Community After Hurricane Helene
Call for Art from the Asheville Art Museum

Update: Due to the extraordinary response for Asheville Strong: Celebrating Art and Community After Hurricane Helene, Asheville Art Museum is pausing their Call for Artists as they review our current submissions in relation to maximum space limitations. They will update the status of the Call for Artists shortly. If you have any questions please reach out to Ehren Gerhard, Curatorial Project Manager, at 828.253.3227 x120.

Important Dates

  • Form Submission Deadline: Sunday, January 12, 2025
  • Artwork Drop Off Schedule: Friday, January 31, 2025 (noon-4pm) and Saturday, February 1, 2025 (noon-4pm)
  • Exhibition on Display: February 13–May 5, 2025
  • Opening Reception: Friday, February 13, 2025
  • Community Day: Saturday, March 15, 2025
  • Artwork Pick-Up Schedule: Friday, May 9, 2025 (noon-4pm) and Saturday, May 10, 2025 (noon-4pm)
