Diana Zyan, painter and muralist originally from Mexico City, studied visual arts at the School of Artistic Initiation of the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). Her work is characterized by the use of traditional pictorial techniques, such as oil and acrylic, and she seeks to develop aesthetic proposals for the intervention of public spaces. From a figurative perspective, she creates a narrative that invites questioning the issues of environments transformed by overpopulation. She has participated in various collective exhibitions in Mexico and some Latin American countries. She has also been part of multiple muralism and public art festivals in Mexico and around the world. Additionally, she is the founder and manager of the project Arte Público Mx, which focuses on developing pictorial proposals with a new narrative.
