We are so excited to announce that the Manuscript Migration Lab will be hosting its first public event, “Cultural Heritage Restitution: Ethical and Legal Issues” on Friday, November 20th from 2-4 PM (ET).
This workshop discusses the legal and ethical implications of collecting, displaying, and holding culturally significant objects, with particular attention to manuscripts. This event features presentations by Patty Gerstenblith (DePaul College of Law), András Riedlmayer (Harvard University), & Heghnar Watenpaugh. A Q&A will follow each presentation.
This workshop will occur over Zoom so registration is required. You must register by Wednesday, November 18th in order to receive the Zoom link and workshop program.
