This dialogue with focus on struggles to recuperate urban space against forces of gentrification and tourism. Specifically, we will focus on the efforts to prevent the eviction of the Casa Invisible, an occupied social center in Málaga, Spain. Participants in the dialogue will include Gerald Raunig, Kike España, and Isabell Lorey.
We will have two linked events:
1) A ‘mapping’ session on Monday, Sept. 16 – 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
2) A ‘dialogue’ on Wednesday, Sept. 18 – 12:00pm to 1:00pm
Lunch will be provided for participants.
