On September 9th the Lab hosted its “Manuscript Fragmentation Across Cultures” roundtable. Speakers included Dr. Akiko Walley, Maude I. Kerns Ass. Professor of Japanese Art, Department of History of Art and Architecture, University of Oregon, Dr. Lisa Fagin Davis, Executive Director, The Medieval Academy of America, and Dr. Christopher Nugent, Professor of Chinese, Center for Global Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, Williams College; Core Lab Affiliate Matthew Hayes acted as moderator.
Key to the organization of this event were Core Faculty Associate Clare Woods and Matthew Hayes. Without their effort, and the coordinating skills of Project Manager Eli Meyerhoff, this generative afternoon discussion would not have been possible. To them the Lab owes much appreciation.
