The Social Movements Lab is having an event Wed., 4/10, 12pm, on migrant and anti-racist struggles in Germany. Please come to a dialogue with Mario Neumann to discuss “Welcome United,” a migrant solidarity and anti-racist initiative in Germany, which has organized mass demonstrations in Berlin and Hamburg.
We will explore the German networks of migrant communities and solidarity organizations that have been particularly active since the summer of 2015. For the Lab, this conversation will allow us to extend further the lines of Mediterranean crossings we have explored in our dialogues with the migrant rescue ship Mare Jonio, Watch the Med, and Athen’s City Plaza Hotel.
