Eli Meyerhoff

Eli currently works as the lab manager of FHI’s Amazon Lab and Manuscript Migration Lab (after previously working for the Social Movements Lab and Health Humanities Lab). He also has previously worked as an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota and in Duke’s programs in International Comparative Studies, Education, and Literature. He earned a PhD in Political Science, with a political theory focus, from the University of Minnesota in 2013. 

He wrote a book titled Beyond Education: Radical Studying for Another World (2019), and he co-wrote “Abolitionist University Studies: An Invitation” (with Abigail Boggs, Nick Mitchell, and Zach Schwartz-Weinstein, 2019). He has also published articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Social Text, Cultural Politics, Polygraph: An International Journal of Culture and Politics, ACME: An International Journal for Critical Geographies, Transformations: The Journal of Inclusive Scholarship and Pedagogy, The Journal of Curriculum Theorizing, and The Journal of Environmental Education.
